Tomorrow

Yesterday, a little girl sang "Tomorrow" from Annie.
and she
KNOCKED. IT. out the park.
i cried.
i actually did.
and everyone stood and screamed and shouted and stamped our feet and there were goosebumps and gushes of that wind, that isn't real, but feels real, because you swear something just swept in front of your face.
thanks, little 12 year old girl.
you rocked, and i love you, even though we've never met.
you personified what a musical theatre number should feel like for me.
like an emotion is so explosive, that you CAN'T JUST SAY IT. you've gotta sing it

i'm sure that sounds crazy cheesy. don't care.
SHE WAS AMAZING.
she made me miss theater, and love my job, and be grateful for my own pipes, which Derek described  at lunch today - to an attractive boy - as, "a mix of Euphoria and gratitude for her contribution to the world ... kind of like Fred Randall singing in RocketMan". k, thanks, Derek.

HEY YOU GUYS I LIKE PROVO.
and i like dis jawb, too.
