I cannot put enough exclamation points to express how happy i was to see this musical!!

in literally 2006 my sister Allison shared some of the music with us, and i fell in love with it. we all did!

I've always loved theatre, and i've always wanted to see this musical!

It came to fresno 3 or 4 years ago, but for some reason we had to sell our tickets, i don't remember what came up, but yeah. 

BUT IT CAME AGAIN.

AND WE WENT.

my angel mother found out ages ago and bought tickets while they were still relatively inexpensive and gave them to us for Christmas!! woot!

and like i said, no amount of exclamation points can accurately depict how absolutely GIDDY i was that night!! both of us!! and we looked smokin' hot if i do say so myself. 

(i apologize for the half of these pictures that were so obviously taken on my phone, lol)

and by the way, i was always under the impression that WHEN YOU GO TO A BROADWAY PRODUCTION, YOU WEAR FORMAL CLOTHES, PEOPLE. 

all these fresnians in JEANS. ugh. uncultured swine. (chill, i'm being a tiny bit sarcastic.)

but really, jeans? to a broadway musical?

JEANS? TO WICKED?

hahaha i'm rude, i know. i know. 

we wore fancy dresses (Jenae's was an adorable birthday gift from Katrina! too cute! and mine was my prom dress that i got years ago from BEBE O'S thrift shop in downtown fresno, holla. they're mah favorite.)

obviously, it was incredible. the actors were all perfect, as expected. 

MY FAVORITE PART WAS THE LIGHTING. 

WOWZA!

seriously. incredible. i love stage lights anyway but these were nuts, i looooooved them. you don't realize how much lights affect a show until you see all the work that goes into designing/plotting a set of them! (insert thank you urinetown reason 1342)

sorry Allison, i don't know what else you want to know. lol. THE ENDING, THOUGH. wild.

hashtag i cut six inches off of my hair yesterday and i feel real bald. 

This was my second (time seeing a) broadway show!

hopefully there are many more in my future. 

i love theatre so much. so much so much so much.
